The nearest tram stops, “Schwedter Strasse” (lines 12, 50 and M1) and “Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark” (lines M6, M10, M13), are each less than a 5-minute walk away. The ride downtown takes just 10 minutes to Alexanderplatz and about 15 minutes to the central railway station.
A few hundred metres separate Heimelig from Kastanienallee, a popular high-street and the oldest road in Prenzlauer Berg. It is lined by small shops, boutiques and restaurants. The vibrant bohemian scene here perfectly complements Heimelig!
